A Group One winner last season, Sword of Osman is reportedly
on track to add to his stakes winning tally.
“He’s doing well – he worked very nicely between races at
Matamata recently (December 29) and is in good order,” trainer Jamie Richards
“I think the race this weekend suits him quite nicely as a
stepping stone towards the Mongolian Khan Trophy later in the month.”
Sword of Osman was purchased by David Ellis for $165,000 and
has won four of his nine starts and over $260,000.
