Promising three-year-old No Fuss Gus (Savabeel x Pin Oak) has
been sold to overseas interests.
The stakes placed gelding won’t run again
in New Zealand after a deal was recently brokered by central districts agent
Phill Cataldo on behalf of a Hong Kong client.
“They are hoping to set him for the Hong
Kong Derby,” Cataldo said. “He’s lightly-raced and by the right stallion.”
No Fuss Gus, who was born and raised at Trelawney, was trained by Michael Moroney
and Pam Gerard for Sydney-based owner Max Whitby to win one of his three
starts. The son of Savabeel also finished third at his last appearance in the
Gr.3 Wellington Stakes. -NZ Racing Desk
