Indecision on the hunt for stakes win
16 Sep 2016Per Incanto filly Indecision (x Yeah Nah) will step up to stakes level on Saturday when lining up in the Gr.3 Hawke's Bay Breeders' Gold Trail Stakes.
After winning on debut in June at Avondale the 3yo filly failed to fire in her last start at Ruakaka. Trainer Tony Pike was not disappointed by the performance however and is optimistic ahead of her third trip to the races.
"I wasn't worried – she missed the kick and it was pretty much over from there," the Cambridge trainer said. "She was stuck last on the fence and was then caught in a bumping duel in the straight.
"She finished off okay the last bit, she's pretty talented but the draw (13) is the worry at Hastings on Saturday."
Indecision was purchased by Trelawney Stud from the draft of Little Avondale for $260,000.
